Welcome

The Trail, now entering its ninth year, is a three day event that takes place during the last weekend of June. During it you will have the opportunity to visit artist’s studios, workshops and homes; you will be welcome to view, participate in and purchase a dizzying array of art and craft work.

And the showcase for this display is a little AONB on the edge of Morecambe Bay. The area, famed for its flora and fauna and network of footpaths, is both a ramblers and artists paradise.

Hosted chiefly by the neighbouring sea-side villages of Silverdale and Arnside, you will find yourself following a network of country lanes and meandering footpaths, to discover more than 70 exhibitors located at over 30 venues. Take a walk, a ride or a drive; stunning views, diversity of art, interactive workshops, demonstrations and accessibility, crammed into a compact little area, are what make our Art Trail unique.
