Lancs & Lakes Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers

The Lancs & Lakes Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers formed in 1953 and became affiliated to the national organisation in 1962. We have been based in various locations in Lancashire and Cumbria but now hold our monthly meetings in Yealand Redmayne Village Hall.

We aim to educate and inspire our members and others in the heritage arts of weaving, spinning, and dyeing as well as many other textile-related crafts. Our meetings include talks by visiting speakers, practical demonstrations and workshops to enable our members to learn new skills from each other or from professionals.

We welcome beginners and experienced weavers, spinners and dyers. If you have an interest in any of these crafts you are welcome to visit us.

We exhibited at the Art Trail in 2015 for the first time and have been coming back ever since!
