About

General Information for Exhibitors, Hosts and Visitors

The Trail is a community event, organised by volunteers encouraging “ownership” by all the participants.

Exhibitors and others work co-operatively, contributing to tasks and sharing their knowledge in order to positively promote and support this Art and Craft event.

The Trail aims to encourage creativity within the community, promote and showcase the work of amateurs and professionals within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and, to bring a wide range of arts and crafts within everyone’s experience.

Anyone who creates their own work can apply to be an exhibitor. We also welcome interest from individuals wishing to do demonstrations and workshops. Resident exhibitors tend to locate their own exhibition venue, be it home, studio or workshop and public venue space is shared between residents and guests in order to provide variety and interest.

Full entry criteria and fees can be found in the Artist Info section on the website. Different rates apply for residents, non-residents and established groups, with reduced rates for the under 21’s (students).
