I work in a range of media.
I create mosaics by repurposing unloved objects. I work in the Pique-Assiette style, using broken dishes and ephemera. I like to make some pieces entirely of Silverdale beach china. Every piece is unique and can’t be recreated.
I also hand-build with clay, using frostproof stoneware to create green men, fairy doors and various creatures for gardens, and colourful plaques and pots for indoors. Some of my ceramics find their way into my mosaics.
I also like to work in paper, making intricate paper cut pictures, and decorating various small pieces of furniture and artefacts by decoupaging them, using selected images torn from paper napkins, and glued in place.
We will also have tea, coffee and delicious cakes for sale, to eat undercover /in the garden (weather permitting), or to take away.
