Mosaics and Hand-built Stoneware
anniemcn@btinternet.com
This the first time that I have exhibited; indeed, the first time I have attempted to sell any of my work, so this is a new venture. Up to now I have worked just for my own pleasure and that of friends, so all my pieces are very much one-offs.
Although I dabble in glass, I work mainly in mosaics and clay.
My mosaics are inspired by my fascination with Gaudi, and are created mainly from shards of pottery scavenged from Silverdale Beach!
My clay work is stoneware, suitable for outdoors. I work with oxides to achieve an unglazed, weathered effect.
Commissions undertaken. Bring me your own mirror, picture frame, etc. even your favourite smashed plates, and I will turn them into something special and unique for you. Or choose a design for an outdoor plaque, and I will make it for you.
