I've been a calligrapher for some 29 years - I love the rhythms, textures, thoughts and expressions you can create with lettering.

I'm from Wigan but have been running my own craft fairs in Grasmere for 11 years. I'm also the official calligrapher for Sarah Nelsons famous gingerbread shop in Grasmere.

Principally I'm a maker of framed pieces, books, memory boxes, wedding stationery etc - anything inspired by calligraphy.

I run workshops for galleries, the NHS and other clients. I've just been employed to teach calligraphy at Salford City College.
