As a surface pattern designer & illustrator I work in collage & watercolour. My work is inspired by the loveliness of the countryside that surrounds us in Silverdale, the coastline & the birds & animals which also call it home. At the trail I will be exhibiting original collages & greetings cards.
After studying for a degree in textile design at The University of Ulster I worked as a designer/ colourist in the textile industry for 15 years. I now work from my home studio as an illustrator & surface pattern designer. I enjoy sharing my skills & knowledge & run workshops in collage, felt making & shibori dyeing at adult education venues, art groups, guilds & schools.
