Annette has been a professional painter for over 15 years, producing colourful figurative work in oil, acrylic and watercolour.  She exhibits mainly at The Catto Gallery in London, the Clifton Gallery in Bristol as well as in Amsterdam and New York.   

Her work has also been widely published both as greetings cards and posters for company such as Ikea, the Art Group and Medici. In 2007 a book about her watercolours was published by Batsford.

 “I am so lucky to be able to spend my days doing what I enjoy.  There is always a fresh challenge or a new idea to explore and that keeps my enthusiasm and commitment to my work alive. And fortunately, what I produce does seem to have a broad appeal, mainly I think because my paintings remind people of happy occasions, of  holidays, the sea, gardens - and sunshine and light. And living in Silverdale is the icing on the cake.”
