With 14 years experience in the textile industry as a stylist, Gill now
works as a designer maker and textiles tutor for adults and children.

Her practice involves reusing domestic textiles and found materials,
transforming them into new attractive pieces. The themes of folk tales
are explored through the techniques of felt making, embroidery, shibori
dying and textile print.

Gill will be running felt making workshops at the Art and Craft Trail.
