Silverdale Painting Group has been in existence for over 40 years to cater for those in the local
community who are interested in drawing, painting and other artistic pursuits for novices as well
as experienced artists. We have weekly meetings throughout the year including demonstrations
and workshops as well as outdoor sketching in summer. Our objects arc to foster and promote
all aspects of painting, drawing and the visual arts generally in the community and to facilitate
the personal improvement, achievement, art education and recreation of members. The Group's
members are kept informed of all our activities by regular newsletters. We are delighted that
we have become associated with the Silverdale Art & Craft Trail which takes place in the last
week of June each year.
