My paintings represent a simplification of what I have actually seen. I ‘m inspired by space, scale, colour and shape combinations. Paintings on display include seascapes, inspired by a visit to Spain. There are also Finnish landscapes and sunset views over a lake.
I use oil paint for its vibrancy, versatility and permanence, applied thinly on canvas, to create a fusion of colour and shape.
