Throughout the years I have maintained my passion for working with different types of stone but in particular I enjoy the challenge of using reclaimed stone in my sculptural work, repurposing and giving it new life like masons and builders have done for centuries. It’s great to take a piece of old stone, look at its knocks and scars and work out how it will take shape and form incorporating the blemishes and imperfections as you guide your chisel on its journey to make your ideas come to life.
