| I am a self taught box maker and my work has gone to many parts of the world. The Shaker tradition of box making fascinates me. I do make the traditional oval storage boxes , however I am increasingly using fabric in my constructions. I particularly like finding antique embroideries, they sit so well with my work. I also make a wide range of boxes for people who quilt and embroider. Alongside the boxes I will also be showing a small selection of the furniture that I make to my own design. |
