The Silverdale Upholstery group meet Thursdays and learn the skills and craft of upholstery, both modern and traditional. They work on their own projects and use professional equipment and are guided at each stage. The work includes mending frames, cleaning and restoring finishes, and all the stages of upholstery needed in both Modern ( foam) and traditional (hair) work.
