I studied illustration, wildlife and botanical painting, before moving to Silverdale 21 years ago.

Photography has always been a part of my work. I love the atmospheric, ethereal and romantic qualities that can be captured with one press of the shutter.

I have moved away from Scientific Illustration but still enjoy detail and sometimes complex compositions. Gardens, figures and flowers feature in the majority of my works in both acrylics and watercolours.
