Viv’s Harris Tweed handbags have become a regular part of the Art Trail. She feels fortunate that her workshop in Yealand Redmayne looks out over the garden, adding to her enjoyment for designing and sewing with this beautiful fabric. Viv is always keen to move on, developing new designs and patterns, and her recent bags reflect this. She has been experimenting with making smaller bags, with more adventurous fabric combinations, embellished with beads, buttons, tassels and cork handles, while continuing to respect the subtlety of this classic fabric.
